Homeless

Let me start this off with no, I am not going to be like "Oh we were homeless before we met Jesus now we have a home." No, that is for preschoolers. But this is one of my favorite quotes. Here it is Holy crap. I read this in a book that I got a goodwill and after I read this I just sat there, contemplating life. Because like guys, Jesus was homeless too. Do I have to repeat that? JESUS WAS HOMELESS TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! So what are you doing for the homeless?  For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, Matthew 25:35. So how are you helping the homeless. I am going to give you an example from my own life. I go to Haiti on mission trips. I love it. Now let me explain something. No, we do not build anything, but we build relationships with orphans. We hang out with orphans, and just play with them. Nothing else. If someone needs a house built, hire a person who has no job. Nephilim

Ok first let me say, this morning I was like "I do not want to write a blog post today. I just don't it's monday..." Then I realized. It's not monday. So here we are and this is during a class I've done all my work in. Let me start off with the  Nephilim. I was in Bible class for today and saw this in Genesis 6 and just about passed out from excitment. This is a Shadowhunter term. Now if you've not read the Shadowhunter series, you should. It's wonderful and excilent and also, you can refrence the bible in it. Like for example, the fact that Clary put on Simon the Mark of Cain to protect him from enemies. The fact that people would die if they tried to harm him. Or for example like when they made the Angel rise at the lake and he refrenced God too many times to count.  So I was excited when this showed up in my bible. But then I looked at what it meant.  Nephilim means giants. So what does this mean. In the shadowhunter books it meant a special pers...

Fleas and Lice

So right now where I live Lice is going crazy. My mom was so upset and saying like why would God make such a creature that nothing good can come from. Well I was reminded the other day how these things can have something good come from them. I heard a story the other day how these two people, Jews back in World War II got into a concentration camp. They got to there bunks and saw it was infested with fleas and lice. Soon they began to have bible studies and the guards never bothered them. Soon they figured out why. The fleas were driving the guards from coming in. They began to worship God regularly. How wonderful. How something so little and so micro can be something so big in God's eyes. I know this is short so here's my question to all you. What has been a curse at first, cut a blessing in your life. And what is your curse right now but will be a blessing later? Sorry guys this is so short it's Friday and i want to go to sleep.
